If Size Matters...

Australian Labradoodles come in three distinct size categories: Miniature, Medium, and Standard. Height is officially measured from the ground to the top of the shoulder (withers), with weight varying depending on gender, muscle tone, and bone structure.

Miniature

  • Height: 35 – 42 cm (14 – 16.5 in)

  • Weight: 7 – 13 kg (15 – 28 lbs)

Compact, agile, and easy to travel with, the Miniature is well-suited for apartment living, cozy homes, or families frequently on the go. Despite their smaller stature, they retain the athletic build, playful spirit, and stamina of the breed.

Medium

  • Height: 43 – 52 cm (17 – 20.5 in)

  • Weight: 13 – 20 kg (29 – 44 lbs)

The most popular "sweet spot" for many families. Mediums are sturdy enough to keep up with active outdoor adventures, long hikes, and spirited games of fetch, yet compact enough to settle comfortably under a café table or ride effortlessly in the back of the car.

Standard

  • Height: 53 – 63 cm (21 – 25 in)

  • Weight: 21 – 30+ kg (45 – 65+ lbs)

A magnificent, athletic companion with a calm and gentle presence. Standards thrive with active families who love long outdoor treks and have ample living space for a large, joyful companion.

A Quick Note on Sizing: Height at the withers—rather than weight—is the official standard for determining size. Individual dogs within a litter may occasionally lean slightly smaller or larger depending on their genetics and overall frame.
